Peter was born 63 years ago in Kitchener, a son of the late Norman and Vera (Nafziger) Helmuth.
Peter will be forever remembered by his loving wife Lisa (Gregory) Helmuth whom he married on September 24, 2011. Dear brother of Paul Helmuth, Joan & Eric Yoder, Dennis & Lovetta Helmuth, Faith & Randy Haffner and brother in law to Cathy & Ron Hughes. Special Uncle to Anthony & Christine Helmuth, Carla Helmuth, Matthew & Amy Yoder, Tim & Shauna Yoder, Melanie Schmidt and Kevin Garnett, Dennison & Christine Helmuth, Tyler Helmuth, Tim Helmuth & Marissa Grizenko, Kyle & Robin Haffner, Kara & David Onofrio, Kasey & Christopher Lacroix, Ronnie & Becky Hughes, Kristy & Thaddeus Stewart, Lauren & Josiah Gillespie and Nicolas Hughes as well as by great nieces and nephews. Peter will be remembered by his father and mother in law Frank and Shirley Gregory, his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Peter is predeceased by his sister Doris & Bruce Schmidt, sister-in-law Eilene Helmuth, nephew Trevor and great-nephew Wyatt.
Peter was a gentle soul. He treasured spending time with his family. He was an avid reader and loved the outdoors, enjoying fishing, hiking, gardening and bird watching.
