Charles L. Sharp Jr. Major U.S Army, age 72 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020. He was born August 24, 1948.

Charles was a Supervising Contracting Officer at the Defense Supply Center, Columbus, Ohio for over 17 years. He served both as military and civilian positions. He is retired from the military service after 22 years of U.S Army. He was a proud Florida "Gator". He was also known as "Ice Man" since he was an avid snowboarder with passion. His family and friends called him as Che'. He was a unique and compassionate loving husband, father, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Charles is survived by his wife Janice; daughters, Lisa, Sarah, Stephanie & Gwen; son, Eric; sister, Ellen; and a host of friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Xenia Senior Rec Center to go towards the purchase of a Transport Vehicle, Xenia, Ohio in Charles L. Sharp's honor.

On October 30th a Private Family Memorial Service will be held at Park Hills Crossing Clubhouse at 565 Park Hills Drive, Fairborn, Ohio 45324. Inurnment will follow at Byron Cemetery at 3256 Trebein Road, Fairborn, OH 45324 this is open to the public. Parking in the church parking lot is appropriate for public cemetery ceremony at 1:30 pm on October 30th.
