Betty Lucile Saunders McCoy, 89, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007, after a period of declining health.
Born March 30, 1918, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Thomas Lee Saunders and Sallie Bryson Saunders. She was the wife of the late Billy Brownlow McCoy.
She is survived by two sons, Billy Bruce McCoy and James Brownlow McCoy; two daughters-in-law, Mary Newman McCoy and Darlene Moore McCoy; and six grandchildren, David Patrick McCoy, Joel Christopher McCoy, Susan Virginia McCoy, James Anthony McCoy, Jason Lee McCoy and Tiffany Marie McCoy.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 2 p.m., at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Gene Hawkins officiating
