Donald A. "Don" Hunter 61 of Roanoke passed away Friday, October 9, 2020. Don was born May 28, 1959 to Vashti Swain Hunter and the late Daniel Hunter Sr. He was educated in the Roanoke City Public School System. He was employed as a Mechanic. Don was a faithful member of Emmanuel Tabernacle Baptist Church of the Apostolic Faith for many years. He had a love for cars. He enjoyed working on cars and when there was a car repair needed, they came looking for Don.
Survivors include his wife, April Hunter, mother, Vashti Hunter, daughter, Teionna Williams, grandchildren, De'Angelo Williams, Da'Majiah Williams, brothers, Daniel Hunter, Jr., David (Carolyn) Hunter, Dwayne (Anetha) Hunter, Derwin "TIm" Hunter, Dexter Hunter, Dwight Bush, Delray Bush, sisters, Rosha Ellis, Renita Catlett of Kentucky, Danielle Bush, special nephews, De'Antoine Hunter, Deion Ellis, devoted friend, Cynthia Branch a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 2:30PM, Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Emmanuel Tabernacle Baptist Church of the Apostolic Faith, Roanoke, VA. The family will receive friends at 2:00PM at the church.
