Carol Ida Potter, 79, of Jane Lane, Cicero, NY, passed away Monday, September 19, 2022 at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.
She was born on July 21, 1943 in Clayton, NY, a daughter of Walter and Ruby Robbins Solar and was a graduate of Clayton High School. She married Alan F. Potter on August 1, 1987 in Wampsville, NY.
Carol was an agent for One Group Insurance Agency in Syracuse. She was a member of the Insurance Agent's Club and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (CPCU).
Surviving are her husband, Alan; her children, Timothy Jones of Naples, NY; Dana and Debbie Potter of SC; Therese Potter and husband Dennis Wheeler of NC; a brother-in-law and his wife, Barclay and Diane Potter of Hamilton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister Norma Solar Leavery.
Friends are invited to call at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 Broad St., Hamilton, NY on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from Noon until 2pm, followed immediately by a memorial service and interment in the Smith's Valley Cemetery, Randallsville, NY.
