Barbara A. Combs, age 61 , of Pennington Gap, VA, passed away October 15, 2020 at Lee Nursing and Rehab in Pennington Gap, VA. She was born in Monarch community in St. Charles, VA on February 10, 1959.
Barbara had worked at the Old Lee County Hospital in Pennington Gap and she worked at Norris Industries for several years.
Barbara is preceded in death by her father Celis Bobby Galey; her brother Bobby Galey, Jr. ; her stepfather Wayne “Popeye” Stanley (Lee Memorial 186827413), her niece Christie Wilder.
Barbara is survived by her mother Josephine Stanley of Jonesville, VA; her son Josh Combs of Jonesville, VA; her daughters Crystal Coomer of Dryden , VA and Summer Frazier of Jonesville, VA; her brothers Carter Stanley of Jonesville, VA, and Jim Stanley and wife Karen of Jonesville, VA; her sisters Jenny Burgan of Jonesville, VA and Linda Wright and husband Jim of Collinsville, AL; eight grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held Monday, October 19, 2020 at 1 P.M. in the Yeary Family Cemetery, Cooney Hollow Loop, Jonesville, Va
