“Big Creek”

Lindell Noel Williams of Bunker, Missouri, went on to be in Heaven on October 13, 2020, at the age of 80, at his home on Big Creek. He was born January 19, 1940, on Current River at Brushy Creek, Missouri. Lindell was the 10th of 11 children.

In 1950, he moved from Current River to Bunker, Missouri, on Big Creek. There he attended Cedar Grove School in Bunker, and graduated in 1958. After graduating he married the love of his life, Wanda Terrill of Bunker, Missouri, on February 14, 1959. They made their home together on Big Creek. They were blessed with 61 years of marriage and four children, Marilynn, Susan, Tracy and Rodney. Lin professed his faith in Jesus at an early age. He loved the Lord and attended New Testament Fellowship Church.

Lin was a logger, farmer, and retired miner after 25 years at the Lead Mine in 1994, in Bunker, Missouri. He enjoyed logging with his draft horses that he trained, raising cattle, and hunting. Lin enjoyed various hunts such as coon hunting with his champion dog “Minnie,” and deer and coyote hunting. He loved going wagon/trail riding on the river. Lin’s greatest joy was camping and fishing on the Current River with his family.

Lin is survived by his wife/“Only Love” Wanda Williams of Bunker, Missouri, three daughters, Marilyn Martin and husband Russ of Bunker, Missouri, Susan Martin and husband Marty of Bunker, Missouri, Tracy Highley and husband Byron of Strafford, Missouri, one son, Lindell Rodney Williams and wife Tricha of Bunker, Missouri, eight grandchildren, Tori Parker and husband Clifton, Kirk Martin and wife Debra, Alana Stephens and husband Dusty, Lance Martin and wife Jennifer, Andrea Brewer and husband Richie, Erica Buehler and husband Chad, Ethen Highley and wife Emily, and Kaylin Wilcox and husband JC, 18 great-grandchildren, Korbin Parker, Mason Parker, Payton Parker, Hailea Martin, Kolter Martin, Konner Martin, Hadley Martin, Zander Stephens, Laila Stephens, Layton Martin, Josey Martin, Loeman Martin, Hunter Brewer, Hiley Brewer, Adalynn Buehler, Alyssa Buehler, Justice Buehler, and Cora Highley, one brother, Denzel Williams and wife Millie of Bunker, Missouri, and one sister, Doris Roberts of Salem, Missouri.

Lin was preceded in death by his parents, Otho and Gracie Williams, two brothers, Verdis and Jay Williams, and one infant brother, and five sisters, Marie Janak, Maude Happel, Maxine Smith, Vel Ruble, and Vesta Stluka.

Lin will be truly missed and remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, friend and neighbor to many. He left us with many treasured memories and will always be loved.
