Kathie Jeanette Kent Lindsey Smith, age 67, of Hodges, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at North Alabama Medical Center.
Kathie was born on Tuesday, April 21, 1953 in Michigan to Gene & Martha (Berry) Kent. She worked as an operator at Wrangler. She had a love for yard sales, QVC, and duct tape, but most of all, she loved her family and friends dearly.
Per Kathie's request, no service is planned at this time. Her cremains will be buried at Winston Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene & Martha (Berry) Kent; brother, Randy Bay; and sister, Teresa Bennett.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Shawn Lindsey (Missie Grissom); grandchildren, Tanner Lindsey, Anna Grace Lindsey; and best friends, Gaynell, Christy, and Joan.
