Steven D. Hawkins passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020. He was born October 29, 1959, in Covington, Kentucky, to the late Robert H. and Joyce A. Hamilton Hawkins. A 1978 graduate of Highlands High School, Steve lived the majority of his life as a Fort Thomas resident, raising two Highlands-graduate children with his loving wife, Yvonne. He worked for 40 years as a machinist and tool maker, earning the superhero moniker of "Chine Shop Guy." Steve recently retired to Covington, where he and Yvonne adopted their rescue pup, Thomas.

Steve is survived by: his wife of 35 plus years, Yvonne Miller Hawkins; a son, Wallace; a daughter, Cara Caudill (Eric); a sister, Donna Sevier (Jerry); a grandson, Owen Caudill; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Hawkins.

Due to his wishes and the Covid-19 pandemic, a memorial service will not be held. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Reds Community Fund.
