He was born the son of Julius and Josephine (Macy) Bushey.
He is survived by his wife, the former Katherine Recore; seven children, Thomas, Gaylor and Melvin of Plattsburgh, Mrs. Donald Peryer of West Chazy, Mrs. Donald Wood of Page, AZ and the Misses Sandra and Nila Busney of Plattsburgh; 6 grandchildren.
Funeral services: St. Peter's Church
