He was born on October 31, 1934 and was son of the late Guy W. and Beulah Rutherford Robinson. He was the former owner of Robinson Paint Store and currently he was a Realtor in Madison County. Bobby attended the First Christian Church where he was an Elder and Board Member as well as lifelong member of the choir. He also was a member of the Madison County Board of Realtors, past president of the Richmond Jaycees, an avid bird watcher and a Kentucky Colonel. Bobby always enjoyed a good cigar and a good joke.
Survivors include two daughters, Laura Ellen Travis (Paul) of Richmond, KY and Leslie Stapp (Mike) of Richmond, KY; one son, Robert Robinson (Amanda) of Viera, FL; four grandchildren, Shawn Stapp, Will Travis, Lauren Stapp and Madeline Robinson; one sister, Kathy Robinson White.
Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one grandson, Andrew Travis and one sister, Freda Robinson Caudill.
