She married Guy Tucker Boles on June 2, 1933, in Texarkana. He preceded her in death on March 24, 1964. She later married Rober Cornelius McGaugh on July 22, 1872, in Marshall. He preceded her in death.
She was born Aug. 14, 1918, in the Black Jack Community. Shew was a member of Victory Baptist Church, Rebecca Lodge, Texas Hood Bridge, and a Sunday school teacher at Second Baptist and Victory Baptist Church.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Tom Morris, and Mary Ella Morris Southerland; sister Charlotte Hynson; and grandson, David Bryan Hall.
Survivors include her children, JoAnn Hall and husband Louis Hall Jr. of Trinity, Roger Warren Boles and Dennis Boles of Baytown and Dana Lynn Davis of Marshal; grandchildren Teresa Hall, Renee Desalvo, Bill Davis, Kimberly Melchor, Melynda Weber, Paula Baylot, and Rachelle Pelham; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Bill Davis, Arty Weber, Alex Baylot, Larry Pelham, Ray Melchor, and Stephen Shirly. Honorary pallbearers were Lehman Ryan and George Slaughter.
