Joy was born on April 30, 1933 in Decatur, IL. She was a daughter of Russell Dale and Eileen Mary Jane (Guysinger) Walker. She married Gordon Roy Elliott on October 5, 1950 in Randolph County, AR. He passed away on November 19, 1997.
Joy is survived by one son, one granddaughter, one grandson, three great-grandchildren, one brother, one niece and four nephews.
Joy was preceded in death by her father, Russell Walker, her mother, Eileen Hall, her husband, Gordon Roy Elliott and a son, Richard Lee Elliott.
