Emma Lucille Johnson was born May 22, 1930, in the Coble Community of Hickman County, Tennessee, to the late Herschel Revo and Mattie Idell Horner Chessor. Mrs. Johnson died October 15, 2020, at the age of 90 years.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by her husband Herman "Jew Baby" Johnson and her brother James Lee Chessor.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her sisters Mary Sue Edney, Mattie Tom Ayers, Evelyn Thompson, Ila Fay Jenkins, and Linda Kay Warfield and by brothers Willie Chessor and Granville Chessor along with many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
A private family graveside service for Mrs. Johnson will be held Friday, October 16, 2020, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens with Bill McDonald officiating.
