Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Gloria, sons James and Patrick, daughter Tabatha, grandchildren, Joshua, Amanda and Allyson Patterson, sister in law Betty Patterson, brother Gary Patterson, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
After serving several years in the Navy, he began a thirty-year career as a service technician for Sears. After retiring in 1996, he worked part time at Food Lion and Advance Auto Parts. Junior enjoyed fishing, hunting, and frequenting his local Walmart. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by all. Funeral and burial services will be private.
