Funeral services for Lee Lane, 56 of Jacksonville, will be at 2 pm on Thursday, October 15, 2020, in the Chapel of K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center, in Jacksonville. Reverend Jessie Barksdale will officiate and burial will follow in the Community Cemetery on Wright Circle.

Lee passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020, at his home.

He is preceded in death by his father, Noble Lane.

Lee was a lifetime resident of Jacksonville. Lee received his LPN from Ayers State and later received his Associate Degree in Nursing. He dedicated his career to working with the elderly at Diversicare, in Oxford, for over 25 years and also caring for his mother.

He is survived by his mother, Myrtle Cochran Lane; his sister, Amy Russell; brother, Glenn "Beno" Hughes; and nephew, Josh Hughes.

Pallbearers will be Josh Hughes, Jaden Cochran, Payton Campbell, Hunter Martin, Austin Dickerson, and Carl Cochran.

The honorary pallbearer will be Jim Hulsey.
