Margaret Farrish, 77, Craigsville - Margaret Virginia Jackson Farrish died Sunday (March 2, 2003) at Avante Care Center in Waynesboro.
Mrs. Farrish was born Oct. 11, 1926, in Rockbridge County, to Weldon T. and Irene Hall Jackson Knight. Mrs. Farrish worked for Stillwater Mills for more than 25 years.
Mrs. Farrish was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan "Nat" Crawford Farrish; two sisters, Elizabeth Ann Thompson and Dorothy Marie Lyle; and one brother, Willis Lee Jackson. Survivors include one son, Thomas Farrish of Linville.
A joint funeral service will be conducted for her and her husband at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Craigsville Southern Baptist Church with internment in Little River Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Craigsville Funeral Home.
