Lewisville ~ Kimberly Louise Todd, 31, loving daughter, sister, and aunt, went to be with our Lord Monday, November 24, 2014 in Dallas.

Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Father Thomas Dsouza will officiate. Pallbearers include Shane Bartel, Jacob Bartel, Conrad Flushe, Daniel Gardner, and Allen Birdsong.

Kimberly was born on May 7, 1983 to Neil and Katherine (Flusche) Todd in Merced, California. She was a mortgage support analyst and financial accounting support worker. Kimberly was one of the oldest known survivors of an extremely rare genetic disorder, ACTA2R179H, with 30-40 known cases world-wide. Struggling with this disorder her entire life, she managed to graduate from Flower Mound High School. She proceeded to earn her MBA from The University of Texas in Arlington, even while working full-time at Citicorp. Knowing her time with us may be short, she pursued her “bucket list” with vengeance; she traveled all over Europe and the United States, created and moderated a Facebook group on her disorder, bought her own home, and always touched other people’s lives with her amazing personality and smile! In the end, she was surrounded by her family and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Neil Todd; her grandparents, James and Sally Flusche; and her grandmother, Janice Todd.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her grandfather, Harold Todd of New Port Richie, Florida; her mother, Katherine Baxley and step-father M.A. Baxley, Jr. of Decatur, Texas; her fiancé, Alex Kibner of Lewisville, Texas; her sisters, Angela Bartel and husband Shane of Lewisville, Texas, Sarah Todd of Santa Fe, Texas, and Megan Flores and husband Hugo of Wrightstown, New Jersey; and four nieces and three nephews of whom she was known as “Aunt Kimmy”.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in her name to the John Ritter Foundation. Acknowledgements to the family of Kimberly Todd may be sent to: P.O. Box 1532, Decatur, Texas 76234
