Toby was born in Logan County July 2, 1953 to the late James Albert Yates and late Lillie May Trent Yates. He is preceded in death by Brothers: Frank Yates and Melvin Yates and Sisters: Willie Ruth Thomas and Hazel Sue Brady.

A Graveside Service for Johnny Owen “Toby” Yates will be conducted 2 PM Sunday October 18, 2020 at the Pleasant Run Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
