Lena was a wonderful woman with such a huge heart. She had a passion for taking care of people and would do anything for anyone. Lena was so caring and compassionate and spent her life as a personal caretaker. Lena was an amazing cook, her specialty being fried chicken. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family.
Lena is survived by her children Clyde (Debbie) Monyhan, John Mark Thomas Tinsley, Mary Elizabeth Tinsley (Mark Smith), MacK Dennis Tinsley, and Terina Tinsley (Jonathan Bolen); 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Lena was preceded in death by her husband John G. Tinsley; her son Mike Lee Tinsley; her siblings Tom Coomes, John Coomes, and Louise Coomes.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday October 16th at Sunset Memorial Park. Published in Courier Press from October 14, to October 16, 2020.
