Mr. Willie Charles Manning was born on March 1, 1940 to the late Eugene and Mammie Manning. At an early age he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at the MT Pleasant Baptist Church. He was well know for being a hard working man, who loved gardening, animals, and outdoors. He leaves behind to cherish his memory a loving wife Rose Manning, of twenty years his children: Dianne “Frank” Freeman, Ricky “Keisha” Manning, Darlene “Jimmy” Willie, Fay Lavergne, Patrick “Gail” Fannin, Willie Manning Jr, Anthony Fannin, and Shirley Carter, twelve grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
