Ashley Ann Bell, age 34, passed away at her home in Wilmington, NC on Friday, June 30, 2017.
She was born on June 23, 1983, in Metairie, LA, where she resided until 2005 when hurricane Katrina struck.
She then settled in Wilmington, NC, where she worked as a waitress. She enjoyed riding her bike around town and waving to everyone she passed.
Ashley loved meeting new people and always greeted them with a warm friendly smile. Ashley also spent many evenings on the beach watching the sunset while the moon would rise.
She is survived by her mother Diane Wibel Champagne, brother William J. Champagne, half sister Rachel M. Bell, step-mother Sue Bell, two step-brothers and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was proceeded in death by her father James Allen Bell, grandparents David O. Wibel, Mary Nadine Usner Wibel, Kathorine Bell and Kenneth K. Bell, Sr.
A service to celebrate Ashley’s life will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, July 14, 2017 at the Kingdom Life Church, 4825 Randall Parkway, Wilmington, NC. Friends are welcome to attend the service and join the family for refreshments at Ashley’s mother home following the service.
