Kevin Michael Hooper

Kevin, age 43, of Springfield, TN died unexpectedly on Saturday October 10, 2020.

He was born in Dickson County, son of Renia Davidson Pack and Randy Lee Hooper. He was a graduate from Carroll County High School. Kevin was an appliance tech with the Lee Company. He was the grandson of the late Roy and Gladys Davidson and Gene and Sarah Lee Hooper.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Hope and a brother J. P. Pack. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dickson.

Kevin loved his God, his family, and his friends. He has always been one of those “Happy” guys that was selfless with family and friends. He was a hard worker unless it came to HVAC, just wasn’t his thing. He was a loving husband and father. In his spare time he followed the Nashville Predators and was a great fan of them. He learned from his grandfather, Gene Hooper, the art of baking. He loved to spent time making his grandfathers famous homemade bread. Kevin was a faithful friend to many always bringing a smile to those around him. Also he had that gifted talent of never meeting a stranger.

Survivors include his wife, Tiffany Hooper of Springfield, TN, his children Michael Hooper and Thomas Hooper both of Dickson, TN, Evelyn Hooper of Alabama and McKenzie Horton of Springfield, TN, his mother, Renia Pack of Bon Aqua, TN, his father, Randy Hooper Bon Aqua, TN, his brothers, Brandon Hooper of Bon Aqua, TN, Brent Hooper of Lyles, TN, Kevin Sullivan of Dickson, TN, his sisters, Jennifer Brown of Bon Aqua, TN and Alicia Hampton of Dickson, TN, his five grandchildren, Mikel, Cruz, Emi, Chloe, and Anastasia.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon, October 18, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Bro. Stuart Brooks will officiate.

Place of rest will be in the Tidwell Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday evening, October 17th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday beginning at 12 Noon until time of service.
