Bill Brown, age 70, of Pottsville, died Thursday, September 24, 2020, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. He was born January 8, 1950, in Russellville to Joe Sephus and Laverne Dovie Bolin Brown.
He was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a Pentecostal and a truck driver.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Joe and Donald Brown; and a sister, Patsy Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Jody Brown; nine children; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service with military honors will be held at Pisgah Cemetery with the Rev. Blake Herren officiating and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
Pallbearers will be E. J. Brown, Nathan Robinson, Brad McCormick, Daniel Hottinger, Jimmy Hepp and Roy Samuels. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny and Eddie Brown and Benny Heflin.
