MRS. D. J. HIGHTOWER

Mrs. Tine Hightower, wife of D. J. Hightower, died early Friday morning, September 3, 1920, at the family residence three miles southeast of Greenbrier, following a long illness. Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon by Rev. J. E. Claunch, interment being at East Shady Grove cemetery.

Mrs. Hightower was born in Murray county, Ga., September 28, 1866, and moved with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Glover, to Faulkner county the fall of 1872, making the trip overland in an ox wagon. She professed a hope in Christ at the age of 19 years. She was married February 5, 1888. She joined the Missionary Baptist church in 1900. She was a consecrated Christian, a true wife and a loving mother. Besides her husband she leaves three sons and a host of relatives and friends.

To the bereaved ones we would say, weep not as those that have no hope, for we realize that she has only paid the debt that sooner or later we must all pay. A Friend.
