Jacquelyn “Jackie” Walker, 66, of Bluewell, WV, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020.

Born on June 10, 1953 in Bluefield, WV, she was a daughter of the late Howard “Bud” Shrader and Naomi Maxine Surface Shrader. She had been a lifelong resident of Bluewell and was a graduate of Princeton High School and was the Valedictorian of her medical coding class at the Mercer County Vocational Technical Center. She was employed by Bluefield Regional Medical Center as a billing specialist. She, along with her husband was the former co-owner of Jason’s Market in Princeton and currently was the co-owner of Gary’s Market in Bluewell.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Lynn Walker of the home; son, Brian (Elizabeth) Walker of Bluewell; Jaime (Jeremy) Barker of Roanoke, VA; grandchildren, Bailey and Brady; brother, Russell “Rusty” (Christine) Shrader of Sandlick; sister, Brenda Shrader of Sandlick, WV; and a special cousin, Mary Semder of Winfield, WV.

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 10:30 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Burial will follow with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Friends may call prior to services, on Thursday from 9:30-10:30, at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell.
