Wilkerson Rites To Be Saturday

Margaret D. Wilkerson, 65, of Idabel, died at St. Joseph's Hospital in Paris, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel in Idabel with the Rev. Richard Pollard and the Rev. Bill Stock officiating. Interment will be in the old Wright City Cemetery under the direction of Norwood Funeral Home of Idabel.
A resident of McCurtain County for 35 years, Mrs. Wilkerson was born on Sept. 16, 1923 at Union County, N.C. to Willie and Gillie Deese. She was employed by the Lane Processing Plant for 13 years and was a member of the South Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Idabe.
Survivors include her husband, Ottis Wilkerson, of the home; two daughters, Linda Becker of Idabel and Hazel Robbins of Miramar, Fla.; six brothers, Silas Deese of Waxhaw, N.C., Paul Deese of Denver, N.C., Donald Ray Deese of Indian Trail, N.C. and Clegg, Max and Gene Deese, all of Monroe, N.C.; four sisters, Lottie Hobbs of Monroe, Annie Mae Carpenter of Greensboro, N.C. and Mary Lee Boyd and Ruth Haywood, both of Charlotte, N.C.; and four grandchildren.
