Carol Sue (Thompson) Turner, age 84, passed away peacefully in her home on October 10th in Wellington, Florida. Sue is survived by her husband Robert (Bob) C. Turner, son Gregory Turner, daughter Elaine Roberti, and son David Turner. She has four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Sue was born in McAlester, Oklahoma on September 30, 1936 to Louis and Ester Thompson. She graduated from McAlester High School in 1955. She went on to attend Eastern Oklahoma College and worked at the First National Bank.
She married Bob in 1958 and they were married for 62 years. She was a Navy wife and moved often, living in California, Washington State, Virginia, Rhode Island and Florida.
She is preceded by her parents, Louis and Ester Thompson, brother Bob Thompson, sister Barbra Steidley, and daughter Julie Ann.
A private service will be held on October 20th at Palms West Funeral Home in Wellington, Florida, followed by burial at a later date in McAlester.
