Norma Carolyn (Brummet) Parker, 83, of Anderson, died October 3, 2020 at Community Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born on February 24, 1937 in Casey, Illinois, the daughter of Frank L. and Waneta (Gaddis) Brummet. She married Thomas Parker December 29, 1955 in Logansport. Tom and Norma enjoyed traveling and camping. Norma loved the Lord, loved her family and loved reading.
Norma was a bookkeeper at Bryce Watkins, Inc. and T & J. Tire Sales. She attended East Side Church of God and was a volunteer tutor for Madison County Literacy Coalition.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Thomas "Tom" Parker of Anderson; son, Jeff (Sandy) Parker of Anderson and daughter, Julie (Dave) Vespa of Lakeland, Florida; brother, Fred (Marian) Brummet of Pensacola, Florida; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, and a granddaughter, Aleisia Vespa.
Memorial services will be 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Greg Allison officiating.
