Kenneth Ray Street

Mr. Street, age 79, of Dickson, TN died October 10, 2020 at Centennial Medical Center after a short stay.

Those desiring, memorials are suggested to the Bright Heart Foundation P.O. Box 3463, Brentwood, TN 37204, in honor of his great granddaughter Kynlee Picklesimer.

He was born and raised in Dickson County, son of the late Cecil Gordon and Ruby Baker Street. He worked for the former Schrader’s in Dickson and later was a school bus driver for the Dickson County Board of Education, but his heart was always on the farm. Farming was his life and his passion. He was a graduate of Charlotte High School and a member of the Maple Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Street.

He was a lover of all things, family and farming. He worked in acres and not hours. His girls were his pride and joy and he leaves a strong legacy with them. He served as a mentor to many and the Lord used him in that way. He was a man with little words but you knew what he thought by his expressions on his face. His laugh and smile was contagious. The best way to describe him simply be....a great man.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Vivian Peeler Street of Dickson, TN, his daughter, Karen Seals (Tim Johnston) of Dickson, TN, his grandchildren, Kaila Picklesimer and her husband, Eric, and Kristin Furr and her husband, Blake, Jeremy Seals and his wife Tiffany, his great granddaughters, Maddy Furr, Kyndal and Kynlee Picklesimer, his brother, Bobby Joe Street and his wife, Glynn of Dickson, TN and his sister, Wilma Wilson and her husband, James Roy of Dickson, TN. also survived by his sister in law, Sue Street of Kingston Springs, TN.
