Patsy "Pat" Jean Adams, age 90, passed away October 12, 2020 at her daughter's home, in Lancaster, CA . Pat was born at home, July 4 1930 in Sigurd, Utah, a daughter of Lloyd E. and Grace D. McGuire Jensen. She married Alvin Loy Adams, May 13, 1946 in Richfield, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized April 16, 2005 in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. He preceded her in death December 16, 2014.
After moving to California, Pat embarked on her career while as a young mother, working for Safeway Stores, Inc, in the data processing area. Her career spanned 30 years, retiring in 1988.
Pat enjoyed travel, camping, her home, and spending time with family. Among other things she will be remembered for her "green thumb" and ability to make anything grow.
Pat is survived by her son, Richard (Cathy) Adams, Monroe; daughter, Terri (Patrick) Wick, Lancaster, CA; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; sister Joan Warenski, Worthington, KY.
She also is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lloyd "Mac" Jensen, Gary Jensen, and Roland Jensen; sisters, Lola Jorgensen and Jeanine Lund.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.in the Richfield City Cemetery. Friends may call at 9:00 am at the Magleby Mortuary Chapel prior to services. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti. Online guestbook at www.maglebymortuary.com
