Linda Lou “Lou Lou” Ritchie, age 73, of Carlisle, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on October 10, 2020. She was a lifelong member of Mount Pleasant Methodist Church. Linda was an avid fan of Pigeon Forge and the music group Alabama and loved to travel to the beach. She loved to give everyone homemade cards and showcase her handwriting abilities.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, William J. and Pauline Gaunce Ritchie; and a brother-in-law, Jerry C. Riggs. She is survived by: a sister, Rebecca “Becky” Ritchie Riggs; two nieces, Terri (Chip) May, of Lexington, and Lisa (Glenn) Moon, of Cynthiana; a nephew, Jeremy (Melissa) Riggs, of Winchester; eight great-nieces and great-nephews, Zachary (Stephanie) May, Ashlie Bean, Darian May, Cody Moon, Joshua May, Brittany (Branden) Cathey, Will May and Mia Young; a great-great-niece, Avery Reynolds-Moon; a great-great-nephew, Ezra May; and a large group of cousins, church family and friends.
Services will be held Wednesday, October 14, at Mount Pleasant Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m., with a memorial service immediately following. A private family burial will follow.
