AGE 73 YEARS
Connie I. Johnston, N.D. of Williamsport and formerly of Jersey Shore, passed away late Saturday night, Oct. 10, 2020 at the Gatehouse Hospice in Williamsport. She was a daughter of R. Bruce and Gleyna (Walters) Bown.
A graduate of Jersey Shore Senior High School, she earned an Associates Degree from WACC now known as Pennsylvania College of Technology. She also earned a Doctorate Degree from the Clayton University of Natural Healing. She was the proprietor of the Natural Health Center in South Williamsport. Connie was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Jersey Shore. She enjoyed traveling; hosting family gatherings and especially loved spending time with her granddaughter, Lauren.
Her survivors include her husband of 35 years, Graffus Johnston and her son, Dean Baker and his wife, Missy of Nesbit and her granddaughter. Connie is also survived by her two sisters, Dawn Bergstrom (Ed), Jersey Shore and Diane Miller, Williamsport, her brother David B. Bown, Duboistown; her step-son, Graffus, a step-granddaughter and nieces and nephews.
Connie’s Life Tribute will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 315 Thompson Street, Jersey Shore.
Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Woolrich.
