Clayton S. Hall, 87 of Port Hope, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Hillside AFC in Snover. He was born on Nov. 21, 1930, in Huron Township, to the late Sidney and Katiebell (Weatherhead) Hall. Clayton farmed his whole life, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, was a mason, and a member of the Grindstone Port Hope Sportsmen Club. Clayton is survived by his nephews Ben Smith and Doug Smith, both of Port Hope; good friends Frank and Mary Ann Porzondek of Port Hope; and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Ethel (Frank) Smith. Funeral services for Clayton will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018, at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Burial will take place at New River Cemetery. Visitation for Clayton will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home, and beginning noon until time of services at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
