Virgil Lee Rich,78,Tompkinsville,passed away at Monroe County War Memorial Hospital, Thursday.He was the son of the late Elisha and Mary A. Bown Rich,and the husband of Mallie Boone Rich,who survives. Other than his wife,he is survived by one daughter;Mrs Vivian Bowman,Radcliff,Ky.;two sons-Edwin Rich,Noblesville,Ind.,and Lenneth Rich,Tompkinsville;two sisters,Zura Birdwell,Tompkinsville,and Zelma Stockton,Louisville,Ky.There are eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.Bro. Darrel Beard officated.Burial was at Mt. Poland.
