He was born on June 21, 1979 in Parsons to Dale Manning Jr and Teresa (Shepard) Manning.
Tommy grew up in Labette City and Mound Valley and attended Labette County High School. He worked for AIW in Coffeyville (now Southwire Company) and the last several years at Old Dominion Freight Line. Tommy was very family oriented and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and attending his children’s ballgames.
He and Ronda Beery were married and have two children, Bailey Manning and Trista Manning, both of Pittsburg. They later divorced.
He and Katie Smith had two children, Keeghan Smith and Casey Manning, both of Caney.
Other survivors include his spouse, Brandi Laughlin, of Hallowell; his mother, Teresa Smith of Parsons; his father, Dale Manning, Jr. and his wife, Sheri, of Columbus; Two brothers, Joseph Manning and Patrick Manning, both of Parsons; and his grandparents, Dale and Deloris Manning of Mound Valley.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Darren Manning, and grandparents, Frank Shepard and Patty and Glen Blackburn.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Springhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m., Friday, October 23, 2020 at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home.
