A celebration of Mr. Ricky Edward Lambert’s life will be held Tuesday, Jan. 16 at 2 p.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas. The Rev. Robert Besser will be the officiant.
Mr. Lambert, of Nacogdoches, Nacogdoches County, Texas died Monday, Jan. 8, 2018 at his home following a battle with cancer at the age of 53.
Born Ricky Edward Lambert at the former McFarland Hospital in Lebanon, Wilson County , Tennessee on February 20, 1964 , he was only son of the late Charles Edward Lambert and late Melba Faye " Faye " Shoemake Lambert Brown .
Mr. Lambert was born Ricky Edward Lambert on Feb. 20, 1964 in Lebanon , Wilson County, Tennessee and preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Lambert, on Oct. 8, 2009 at the age of 67; and his stepmother, Mary Frances McCormick Lambert, who died Feb. 17, 2014 also at the age of 67, in Lebanon, Wilson County, Tennessee.
Mr. Lambert’s mother, Melba Faye " Faye " Shoemake Lambert Brown , died May 22, 2015 at the age of 71, and his stepfather, Woodrow Wilson Brown, died Feb. 21, 1999 at the age of 80 , in Nashville , Davidson County, Tennessee.
Mr. Lambert's father in law George Wallace Conger Sr. , died December 9 , 2003 at the age of 71 , in Beaumont , Jefferson County, Texas.
Mr. Lambert's Grand Parents Charlie Lee Shoemake , died November 1, 2017 at the age of 78, and Darthula " Thula " Lee Bush Shoemake , died February 27, 1989 at the age 71 , of Smith County, Tennessee, and Charlie Brown Lambert , died August 14 ,1981 at the age of 67, and Clara Estella " Stella " King Lambert died June 1 , 1992 at the age of 75 , in Smith County, Tennessee.
Mr. Lambert was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, where he received his bachelor of science degree in agriculture.
He was employed with the United States Department of Agriculture, Natural Resource Conservation Service as a soil scientist, first in North Dakota and then was transferred to Texas.
Mr. Lambert possessed the Honorary title of Colonel Aide de camp of the Governor’s staff from the State of Tennessee, which was presented to him by State Ned McWherter ( Governor )
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Diane Lambert ; daughter, Amy Diane Lambert ; of Nacogdoches, Nacogdoches County, Texas, and his mother in law Ann Suggs Conger of Beaumont , Jefferson, Texas , and four siblings, Sharon McCormick Sevinsky Coker, and husband, Jerry Coker of Smith County, Tennessee, Tracy Marie Lambert, Scotty Wayne Lambert of Lebanon , Wilson County, Tennessee, Charlie Richard Lambert, and wife, Gina Marie Miller Graves Lambert of Pueblo, Pueblo County, Colorado. And two sisters in laws Deborah " Debbie " Ann Conger Hugg and husband Michael " Mike " Ray Hugg of Houston, Harris County, Texas and Donna Lynn Conger Hickman and her husband Ronald Bruce " Bruce " Hickman of Warren, Tyler County, Texas, and two brother in laws George Wallace Conger Jr. of Beaumont , Jefferson County, Texas and Bryan Grafton Conger and his wife Tammy Rachel Warner Conger of Lumberton , Hardin County, Texas. and Nieces and Nephews David Sevinsky , Jennifer Coker, Dustin and Justin Coker of Smith County , Tennessee, and Alina Lambert of Tennessee, Michael Joshua " Josh " Hugg and his wife Michele Nguyen Hugg and Jessica Ann Hugg O'Neill and her husband Greg Patrick O'Neill of Houston , Harris County, Texas. Melissa Lynn Hickman Rice and her husband James Rice of Spurger, Tyler County, Texas and David Bruce Hickman of Warren , Tyler County, Texas and Grafton Thomas Conger and Grayson Tyler Conger of Lumberton , Hardin County, Texas.
And is survived by his Aunts and Uncles of Smith County, Tennessee and Cousins of Tennessee.
