We are saddened to announce the passing of Wanda Dean Bell, a resident of Westwood Health and Rehabilitation in Archdale.

Wanda was a sweet and wonderful lady who never met a stranger and was instantly loved by all. She had a very thankful and humble spirit and believed in hard work. As an employee at Sears in Fayetteville, for over thirty years, she made many customers happy with her enduring smile and aim to please. As time went on a massive stroke and many other health problems became obstacles in her life but she fought through these mountains until her body became so tired at the very end. Memories of her love of family, Snoopy, Rock-n-Roll, good food, the beach, and so much more will live on beyond her precious life.

She is survived by her son, David McDougall and wife Ashlynn, of Fayetteville; two grandsons, Arejay and Isaac; sister, Wendy Snider and husband Chad of High Point, with nephew Bradly and niece Brittany Bingham; and great nephew Talon of Thomasville, and nephew Christopher Parker of New Port.

Preceded in death were Wanda’s mother, Carol Bell and father Ronald Bell as well as her twin sister, Rhonda Schweinberg.

The family of Wanda Bell would like to extend their appreciation to employees who cared for her at Westwood Health and Rehabilitation. Wanda loved you like family.

There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, October 13th at 2:00 at Floral Garden Memorial Park in High Point to celebrate Wanda’s life and embrace into the arms of Jesus. Friends and family are invited to attend.

Wright Funerals-Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
