Della was the daughter of Crawford Coleman and Srah Critcher. Siblings were William Madison "Robert", Emma, Sarah Jane, and John Critcher Coleman. Della married Charles Lemuel Hudler and their children were Edna, Mary, Olna, Russell, Jane, Videll, and Charla, Hudler.
From the Denver Post's Empire Magazine, 1956, was this article: " Delcinea Del Toboso Coleman Hudler is probably the best known fly fisherman along Willow Creek above Grandby. Dulcie, as she is known to her friends and neighbors, rarely fails to get a fish, which is a remarkable feat. Besides that, she will be 92 on Sep 16. In addition, she does all her fishing from the back of a big black horse. Altho she moves to Denver for the winter, Dulcie spends her summers on her ranch near the lower end of Willow Creek resevoir and for nearly half a century she has fished the mountain streams west of Denver. Always active and full of vigor, Dulcie celebrated her 90th birthday by mounting her horse, unaided, and riding off at a full gallop after some cattle. Dulcie's husband died more than 40 years ago, leaving her to run the ranch and raise her children." Please note: The family notes there are errors in this article. One, the origin of the name cited in the
newspaper is unknown to her kin, as her given name at birth was Della.
She was an exciting person to know.
