Emily M. Young, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at her home in Scott County, Kansas. She was born on September 10, 1941 in Pueblo, Colorado, the daughter of William and Gladys Wiggington Cox. She was a resident of Scott County, Kansas, since 1957, having moved from Modesto, California. She worked as a certified nurse's assistant and as served as an EMT until 1997.
Memberships include: Holy Cross Lutheran Church Scott City, Kansas Lifetime member of Alpha Omega, ESA Scott City, Kansas Lifetime member of Ladies Auxillary VFW Scott City, Kansas Lutheran's Women Missionary League

On August 7, 1968 she married Gerald E. Young in Scott City, Kansas. He survives.

Survivors: Two Sons Jerry L. Young El Paso, Texas William L. Young Dodge City, Kansas Two Daughters Lynnette Bergen Clinton, Tennessee Michelle Lightner Scott City, Kansas One Sister Fern Romano Gloversville, New York
