Adolph Henry Burri,89, Springfield, Mo. passed away at 3:19 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 1999. in Cox Medical Center South.
Mr. Burri, a retired famer, was born April 21, 1910, in Dunlap, Kan. The son of Gottlieb and Caroline Klemm Burri. He was united in marriage to Clara E. Swarner on June 10, 1934 in Bushong, Kan., and she preceded him in death in 1997. Adolph was a lifelong resident of the Bushong, Kan. area before moving to Springfield, Mo., due to his health. He was also preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and seven sisters.
He is survived by a daughter, Carol Peterson and her husband Roger of Springfield, Mo.; a son, Daniel Burri and his wife S of Newport News, Virginia; two grandsons Kevin Peterson of Willard, Mo., and Chris Burri of Newport News, Va.; three granddaughters Brenda Peterson Wilhelm of St. Louis, Mo., Dennis Black, Lakewood, Colo., and Ashley Burri, Wilmington, Del; four great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Katie Mack, and Lucas and Tessa Peterson.
His body has been cremated under direction of Ayre Goodwin-Lee, services will be at a later date in Bushong Cemetery , Bushong, Kan.
