William was the son of William Gene Waddle, (DOB ukn - DOD 8/15/1899), & Nancy Elisabeth Duke, (DOB 8/22/1853 - DOD 12/5/1912), he was the grandson of John Sanner Waddle, (DOB ukn - DOD 1880) & Elizabeth Waddle, (DOB 1808 - DOD ukn), who are all buried at Pine Ridge Cemetery, in Grant County, Grapevine, Arkansas. He married Catherine Funderburg, (DOB 9/26/1892 - DOD 7/27/1968), in January 1910, in Grant County, Arkansas, they had 12 children (1) Elva W.
