Peggy Griffin Gray, 75 of Columbus, Georgia, died Sunday, October 11, 2020, at Greenhouse II at Calvary. A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Riverdale Cemetery. Rev. Haynes Martin will officiate. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 face coverings and social distancing will be required during the graveside service.

Peggy was born July 25, 1945, in Columbus, Georgia to the late Edwin Griffin and Betty Joyce Chambers Montgomery. She was self-employed as a Cosmetologist for over 50 years. She was a member of the Living Grace United Methodist Church. She was an artist and a member of the Columbus Art Guild and she was a member of the DeKalb Art Council.

Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her sister-in-law Sandra Leathers.

Survivors include her husband, Wiley C. Gray of Columbus, GA., her daughters, Kelly Gray Morgan (Garris) of Columbus, GA., Tiffany Gray Calhoun (Scott) of Marietta, GA., grandchildren, Kyle Morgan, Avery Morgan, Helen Calhoun, and Emma Calhoun, sister, Betty M. Strange of Covington, GA., brother-in-law Dan Leathers of Eufaula, AL.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring please make contributions to Living Grace United Methodist Church 3969 Edgewood Cir, Columbus, GA 31907.
