Shawnee resident Sarah Mae Mosley, 64, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, in Shawnee.
She was born Oct. 3, 1942, in Fairfax.
Sarah graduated from Shidler High School and then graduated from Nursing School in Ponca City.
She married Eddie Nichols in 1961 and had one daughter, Tammy Rayna. She then was married to Dr. Kirk T. Mosley in 1974 and had one son, Kirk Todd.
Sarah was a devoted Nurse at area hospitals for 40 years. She was a member of the Red Hat Chapter in Meeker; longtime member of South Rock Creek Baptist Church; and member of Meeker First Baptist Church
She loved spending time with grandchildren; enjoyed her pets, Sugar Bear and Tippy; and enjoyed helping others in their time of need.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Sam Garrison; husband, Dr. Kirk Mosley; and infant daughter, Candy Layne Mosley.
Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Simmons and husband, Johnny; son, Kirk Todd Mosley; grandchildren, Kourtney Roberson and husband, Stony; Kevin Simmons and wife, Samantha, Kyler, Kaitlyn, Kelsey, Kaleigh Simmons, Tyler Mosley, and Haley Williams; nephews, Delwood, Charley, and Clay Garrison; many other loving relatives and friends
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Walker funeral Service.
Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Meeker First Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Jones officiating. Burial will be at Prague Cemetery
