Reflections of Life & Obituary
"On July 28, 1965, Delenzia "Len" Turner was born to L. C. and Frankie Turner. He joined Mount Zion Spiritual Church at an early age. He was an active member of the Male Chorus, and he served as an usher.

Len graduated from Marshall Senior High School in 1983. After graduating, he joined the Army National Guard. After serving his country, he entered the workforce. Although Len had numerous careers including working at Gibson's, Trinity Industries and Sav-a-Lot, he was best known for working in the meat department at WalMart.

In spite of his health issues, Len had a smile that would light up a room. He never met a stranger and had a way to make you laugh. Delenzia also liked to cook and eat! He was always ready for a good meal. Line-dancing was a hobbie of his, as well as, watching his favorite football team, The Dallas Cowboys. But his love for his family ruled his heart. He adored his children and grandchildren. They were his life.

Len fought a good fight and transitioned from labor to reward on October 2, 2020.

Len is preceded in death by his parents, L. C. and Frankie Turner; two siblings, Alonza Turner and Patricia Turner Johnson; a son, Arnez Turner; and a niece, Kavette Johnson Alford.

Cherishing his memories are his eight children; nine grandchildren including one 'on the way'; six siblings; an aunt; a host of nieces, nephews and a number of other family and friends."

Arrangements entrusted to Peoples Funeral Home.
