Ruby Nell Morgan was born April 3, 1942 in Douglasville,Ga. to the late Beatrice Bradfield and Buford Gibson. She died October 9, 2020 of Covid-19 complications at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia.
She attended Washington Elementary School in Austell and Lemon Street High School in Marietta.
She attended nursing school and worked at Cobb General Hospital.
Ruby became a Baha'i in the 1970s when she met Elaine Eilers, the first Baha'i to move to Cobb County. She was a member of the South Cobb community. Elaine use to visit with her when Ruby live on what Elaine called "Sherman's Hill " in Vinings Georgia in the 1970s.
Ruby loved life but most of all she loved her family. She enjoyed reading, listening to music, and dancing. She always kept a smile on her face and spoke kind words to everyone she met.
She was married to the late Julian J. Morgan (JuBaby) to this Union 3 children were born: Maria Bradfield, Amanda Morgan-Patterson (Mark), David Morgan (Tiffany) and with the late Willie E. Reid she was Blessed with another son Marcus Reid. She was also blessed with 11 Grandchildren: Tannesha, Stacey, John, Lesley, Morgan, Jaelin, Megan, Kayla, Kyla, Lil Ruby and Noah. 5 Great Grandchildren: Brianna, Trey, John III, Sarah and Skylar.
