Mr. Eric Wayne Green died unexpectedly in Fort Worth, Texas on November 6th, 2017 at the age of 59. Eric was born on June 24, 1958 in , Galion Ohio to Lowell and Doloris Green. Eric is survived by his wife, Terry Green of Norman, wife of 21 years; parents, Lowell and Doloris Green of Oklahoma City; children, Kayla Angeles, Terri Hays, and Patricia Beedle; siblings, Linda Hensley of Seattle, WA, and Darcy Green of Edmond, OK; grandchildren, Alessa Beedle, Scott Hays, Adriana Beedle, Katelynn Hays, and Emma Hays.
Eric earned a B.A. in Finance (University of Nebraska), an Associates in Nursing (OCCC), and a Master’s in Health Care Administration (University of Ohio). Eric had a successful career in the automotive finance and insurance industry in Saint Louis, MO. He returned to Oklahoma and started a second career as a RN. Eric specialized as an OR nurse functioning in several capacities including a circulating, supervisor and traveling nurse.
His children remember him as a kind, gentle, patient, and hardworking father who encouraged them to pursue the best version of themselves. Eric was a generous and dedicated individual who loved cycling, cooking, and traveling. He was passionate about his family, the Hawaiian Islands, and his career. He was an active and dedicated member of the First Christian Church of Norman.
A Public viewing will be held at Primrose Funeral Home in Norman beginning Thursday. November 9, 2017 from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. and all day Friday 8:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. A funeral service is scheduled for 12 noon, Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the First Christian Church Norman, 220 S. Webster Ave. Norman, OK 73069. Pastor David Spain will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Eric's life.
