Antoinette C. “Toni” Williams, 88, Silver Creek, N.Y., passed away Thursday morning at Garden Gate Health Care Facility in Cheektowaga, N.Y.

She was born Dec. 6,1931, the youngest of ten children, in Silver Creek, N.Y., the daughter of the late Anthony and Angeline (Nocera) Cuccia. She married James S. Williams on Sept. 7,1957, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church in Silver Creek. He preceded her in death on July 16, 2010.

Toni is survived by five children: James Williams of Rochester, N.Y., Michael Williams of Fredonia, N.Y., John (Rebecca) Williams of Cheektowaga, N.Y., Pamela (Robert) Size of Bonita Springs, Fla., and Kathi Williams (Mark Gregorio) of Cheektowaga; 12 grandchildren: Erick Williams, Dr. Jennifer (Nick) VanDevelde, Leanne (Brian) Cassevoy, Dr. Christina (Dr. David) Bereda, Stephanie (Adam) Thomas-Williams, Caroline Size, Dr. Robert Size, Dr. Isaac (Katlin) Williams, Ian Size, Noah, Simon, and Lily Williams; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Jean Pisa Wollenschlaeger; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by eight siblings; two great-grandchildren: Brennen and Finley Bereda; also her close friend and companion, Thomas Ortolano.

Toni was a lifelong area resident who graduated from Silver Creek High School in 1950, where she played on the basketball and softball teams. She worked for Van Raalte Corp. in the office, the Columbian Fathers as a secretary, and as the director of the recreation department for the Village of Silver Creek.

In her younger years, she sang A Capella with her friends at different venues around the area. She enjoyed sewing and would make her kids clothing when they were young. Toni was the caregiver for her mother at a very young age, also to her in-laws in their later years. She looked after several nieces and nephews. Toni was like a second mom to the children in the neighborhood. Toni was very active with her husband Jim in Little League baseball, a former den mother of Cub Scouts and very involved in Boy Scouts. She enjoyed playing cards especially pinochle and was an avid bowler. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.

Friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek, NY on Monday, June 22, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church. Please assemble at the church. Committal will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
