Donna Lea (Arnold) Butler was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on August 21, 1934 to Isom Clifton Arnold and Ethyl Pauline (Harper) Arnold. She was the youngest of 4 children. Brother Audrey Arnold and sisters Vantrice Arnold Bridgewater (ID # 13912017 ) and Barbara Arnold Burns (ID # 51422608 . Whom had all preceded her in death. Donna was brought up in church anytime the doors were open the family attended Freewill Baptist Church. Donna learned at an early age how to cook, clean and sew. Donna graduated from Central High School.

On March 17, 1950 she met the love of her life Clyde Butler at a St Patrick's Day dance at the YMCA in downtown Tulsa. Clyde and Donna married on June 14, 1952. Clyde and Donna settled in SW Tulsa where Clyde grew up. They were married 68 years when she passed on October 10, 2020.
Donna and Clyde had 4 children. Curtis, Alan, Lee Ann and Susan. Donna was a stay at home housewife and stayed very busy with her 4 children while Clyde worked and went to real estate school. Donna was very active with the girls as sponsor for the kids different sports activities. Their family had many fun adventures traveling on vacations, sometimes with other friends and families.
After their children were grown, they had a winter home in San Diego, California. They had many good times there with the friends they had met. Donna loved to drive to the beach and just sit and watch the waves roll in and the surfers try to ride the waves.

As they began to have a larger family with grandchildren arriving in the world they gave up the California home and began spending time with her grandchildren. Being the fabulous seamstress, she was always sewing for them. She was an excellent cook as well. Clyde always told her this is the best I ever tasted. Donna loved working in flowerbeds. Her and her good friend Helen would spend many hours a day planting and building flower beds.

Donna was preceded in death by her Father, Mother, brother and both sisters. One grandson Cody Butler and 2 sons Curtis and Alan Butler.

She is survived by her husband Clyde and both daughters Lee Ann Bishop and Susan Smith. 9 grandchildren Nikki, Brittany and Alecia, Luke, Blake and Megan, Cain, J. C. And Danielle.

9 Great grandchildren Paige and Izzy, Ivy, Braxton, Georgia and Mackenzie, Lilly and bonus great grandchildren Brooke and Jessie. Also, several nieces and nephews and a host of many friends.
