Mrs. Sue Isbell Stone, age 92, of Cedartown GA, passed away on Tuesday evening October 7, 2014. She was born on May 31, 1922 in Polk County, GA, a daughter of Mr. William Monroe Isbell and Mrs. Sallie Fricks Isbell. Mrs. Stone had worked for the Diamond Shamrock Corporation and had also worked for the Polk School District for a number of years. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a member of the Polk Historical Society. She was a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Cedartown for many years where she was also a member of the Ruth Sunday School Class.

Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by her parents; William Monroe Isbell and Sallie Isbell, her brothers; Bob Isbell and George Isbell, her sister; Alline Isbell and her husband; James Roy Stone.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Sue Isbell Stone will be conducted on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with Dr. David Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at the Litesey Funeral Home.

The following Gentlemen will serve as Pallbearers; Mike Isbell, Jeff Tumlin, Darren Nale, Michael Woodall and Ricky Mathis. Members of the Ruth Sunday School Class will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 12 B Felton Place, Cartersville, GA, 30120 or First Baptist Church of Cedartown, P.O. Box 720 Cedartown, GA 30125.
